Every Saturday from 9am runners prepare themselves to race...against the clock!
Runners are timed as they race 5km against fellow wannabe athletes and sometimes even professional ones. The course is the path running North of the Windmill on a traffic free, flat path.
The run is suitable for beginners as volunteers are there to offer expert advice. The event is totally free but newcomers are required to register by 12pm on a Friday afternoon.

How to get there
The course start is located 100 yards from the Windmill on Wimbledon Common. The closest tube stations are at Wimbledon, Wimbledon Park and Southfields. If travelling by bus the 93 and 200 serve the Parkside of the Common.
