Amazons Ladies Basketball Group
Ladies join your fellow amazons on the basketball court for some free exercise!
Amazon's amateur Basketball Group is currently recruiting members for their coordinated workout sessions that take place in Borough three times a week.
Sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 6pm till 8pm and are intended to be a fun and informal opportunity for ladies who feel the need to be more active and fit, although an exercise group members do not play competitive basketball and do not play against other teams.
The group is looking for complete novices or out of action players to join them, potential members are welcome to come and observe before joining in. Members are not required to show up at every session but many do.
The sessions take place in Newington Gardens on Harper Road.

How to get there
The closest tube stations are at Elephant & Castle and Borough. If travelling by bus the 21, 35, 40, 133, 343 and C10 all serve Borough and Newington Gardens.
