The Medicine Man sheds some of his secrets

medicineman2.jpgYou can witness some of the strange and wonderful objects of collector extraordinaire Henry Wellcome. It's all there from fertility aids of Oriental origin to the dental hygiene habits of Napoleon.

The Wellcome Trust's permanent exhibition helps reveal the mind of health obsessed nineteenth century fellow who was - among other things - entrepreneur, philanthropist, scientist and photographer. Or pop along if you just love tribal masks, or coloured glass in various shapes and sizes.

All events and exhibitions at The Wellcome Trust are free and include tours, talks, screenings and discussions led by experts all about your general health. You can even join their club! The Trust galleries are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10.00 - 18.00, Thursdays late night 10.00 - 22.00, Fridays and Saturdays 10.00 - 18.00, Sundays 11.00 - 18.00 and closed on Mondays.
