Get to grips with the green during free short mat bowling sessions
Bowls used to be the sport of the elderly, but today it is a growing sport with even young people getting involved!
You can play short mat bowls for free every Thursday at the Mayville Community Centre in Islington. There is no need to book and the sessions are open to people of all ages and abilities.
Just turn up between 3pm and 6pm and enjoy!

How to get there
The closest over ground train station to the Mayville Community Centre is Cannonbury. The closest tube stations are at Arsenal and Highbury and Islington. If travelling by bus the 4, 19, 30, 38, 56, 73, 236, 277, 341, 393 and 476 serve Cannonbury and Woodville Road.
