Taste A Spoonful of Posion every Monday night at the Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel
Every Monday evening the Rhythm Factory plays host to open mic night 'A Spoonful of Poison'.
'A Spoonful of Poison' started life in 2005 and according to its website "...has gained an almost legendary reputation as one of the best open-mic nights in the known universe." Wow, quite an accolade.
The evening runs from 8pm until Midnight and is hosted by Richard Tyrone Jones and DJ Willy Nilly. Special guests change from week to week but you can be guaranteed lots of music, poetry, comedy, fun and frolics. The performers lined-up include:
December 8th - Another Saturday Spectacular.
December 10th - Blah Blah Blah, Ashley Reaks, Alex Walker and Alex Thomas.
December 17th - Kunt and the Gang, Slim Chance, Jason Patterson and Vis the Spoon. - CANCELLED

How to get there
The closest tube stations are at Whitechapel and Aldgate East. If travelling by bus the 25, 106, 205, 254 and D3 all serve Whitechapel.
