Bruno D'Ambra Trio & Guests
It's London's best kept jazz-and-drinking secret: Sunday night music at the gorgeous Mansion pub
Every Sunday night, there's fantastic live jazz in the laidback-but-gorgeous surroundings of The Mansion pub in Gipsy Hill.
Excellent pianist Bruno D'Ambra leads the always-enjoyable resident trio - which features Scott Noftle on bass and Charlie Price on drums - with a musical guest joining them each week.
February's guests include saxophonist Tony Kofi (3 Feb), vocalist Jane Parker (10 Feb) and trumpeter Quentin Collins (17 Feb).
So come down, enjoy the live music, have a drink or a bite to eat... and imagine you're in Greenwich Village. Yes, it really is that good.
"Reincarnated a couple of years back, this impressive black-fronted
gastropub reigns supreme in the area. Not many pubs have a grand piano
- and this one doesn't look at all out of place among the gilt mirrors
and elaborate candelabras." - Time Out review of The Mansion
