Hands On Family Workshops At The Horniman Museum
Ensure your children are Hands On at the Horniman Museum family workshops
Every weekend children and their families are invited to the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill for a Hands On Workshop.
The workshops explore a different theme each weekend from toys and masks to puppets, animals and Africa. Each session starts with a short introductory talk.
The programme for February is as follows:
February 2nd and 3rd - Hands on Chopsticks
February 9th and 10th - Hands on Chopsticks
February 16th and 17th - Hands on Music from India
February 23rd and 24th - Hands on Music from India
March 1st and 2nd - Hands on Animals
March 8th and 9th - Hands on Africa
March 15th and 16th - Hands on Masks
March 22nd and 23rd - Hands on Puppets
March 29th and 30th - Hands on Animals
Workshops take place at the Hands On Base between 11-11.45am and 12.15-1pm on Saturdays and 2 - 2.45pm and 3.15-4pm on Sundays.
