Acoustic & Spoken Word Open Mic
Come and watch - or perform! - live music and spoken word at this legendary pub in Herne Hill
Join host Enigmatic Len for the free weekly Open Mic night every Tuesday at The Half Moon pub in Herne Hill.
A pub with a long tradition of live events - The Police, Van Morrison and U2 have all played there - The Half Moon is a fabulous Victorian pub with beautiful wooden interior, engraved mirrored walls, and a cosy snug bar.
Sign-up is from 7pm, and the night runs form 8pm to midnight. Expect everything from spoken word to solo musicians and acoustic singer/songwriters. Bring your instrument, your lyric book - or just yourself! As the poster says: "First time members welcome. Don't be afraid of the mic!"
