'Torchwood' Book Signings

Three writers of the Torchwood will be down at  sci-fi megastore Forbidden Planet to sign copies for fans:

Gary Russell - The Twilight Streets
Street parties and events are being planned in a newly renovated area of Cardiff to celebrate the improvements. Torchwood get interested when Toshiko recognizes the sponsors name: Bilis Manger. But the team have to investigate without with Captain Jack because he can't go into the area without being physically ill. Will the team cope without Jack?

Trevor Baxendale - Something In The Water
Dr Bob Strong's GP surgery is seeing a weird amount of people with coughs and colds, even Bob has caught it. Saskia Harden has often been found submerged in ponds and canals but she's still alive. The only records of her are in Dr Strong's surgery. Then Torchwood discovers a dead body that's still able to talk, and what she's saying is 'Water Hag'. Is this what links everybody?

David Llewellyn - Trace Memory
Back in 1950 a crate headed for Torchwood explodes in Tiger Bay and Michael Bellini is the only survivor. Fifty years later a radioactive source inside Torchwood lead the team to discover Michael cowering in the vaults, still young and dressed in his 50's clothes. Thanks to a relic, which was inside the crate, Michael has been time traveling and the Torchwood team have all met him at some point in their lives. But now the Men In Bowler Hats are coming to get the relic back.

How to get there

Underground: The closest tube station is at Tottenham Court Road.

Bus: 1, 7, 8, 10, 14, 19, 24, 25, 29, 38, 55, 73, 98, 134, 176, 242 and the 390 all serve the area.
