Notting Hill Arts Club - RoTa Afternoon
Join Distant Noize as they host RoTa Club at the Notting Hill Arts Centre
Rough Trade Shops' RoTa afternoons have been running like clockwork for 8 years now, every Saturday at the Notting Hill Arts Centre.
Every week, between 4pm and 8pm you can expect to see 3 or 4 live bands and DJs. Often there is a label showcase but sometimes not. The policy covers basically anything that is (or would be) on sale in the Rough Trade shops, taking in leftfield/alternative genres ranging from post-rock, electronica and alt-folk to fuzzy rock'n'roll and indie-pop, with all the stranger stuff in between.
On March 22nd Distant Noise presents Televise, Yellow6, Winterlight and Luga.
New DIY label Distant Noise hosts an afternoon of gloriously ambient and feedback-drenched shoegazey pop and electronica.
