Head down to the BBC Radio Theatre for the recording of BBC 7 sketch show 'Tilt'

tilt.jpgTilt is a new topical sketch show for BBC 7 that takes you behind the week's news.  And then mucks about with it a bit.

The people behind Tilt want to make a show that is playful and witty.  We don't want to take the obvious angle on any story - and we'd rather not have to do impersonations of Gordon Brown.

The big stories of the week are told in running sketches set behind the scenes where the action really happens.  Around that sit stand alone topical sketches, headlines, monologues, spoof ads, spoof trailers, news parodies... Tilt isn't a spoof news programme, but it's hard to poke fun at all things topical without turning an eye to the ways in which we receive news.  And for that matter, sport, weather, or celebrity gossip.

Featuring Margaret Cabourn-Smith, Katy Wix, Simon Brodkin, Isy Suttie, Oliver Maltman and Nick Mohammed.

The show is being recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre on April 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

You can apply for tickets by calling 0870 9011227 or by checking out the official BBC tickets website. Please note the minimum audience age is 14 years old.
