This fantastic free music event will feature the live talents of Ben Mi Duck and Kira Neris and guest DJ Nick Stroud from Jazznotazz.
Ben Mi Duck has received praise and plays from Gilles Peterson,Dego 4 Hero, Ras Kwame, Domu and Michael Rutten. On stage the line up boasts a 9 member strong collective including, Cat Mctigue: Vocals, Rob Busiakiewicz: Vocals, Tenor sax, Tom Sharpe: Trumpet, Marcus Gorman: Tenor sax, Laura Moran: Trombone, Frank Moon: Guitar, Ben Foggerty: Dirty red Nord Electro2, Sunim Koria: Electric bass and Matt Parker: Drums
Herve Poudoulec's Kira Neris project encompasses the many styles that have influenced him since his love affair with music radio from the age of 11. Based in Strasbourg Kira Neris's debut album, 'Behind Closed Doors', focuses on a beautifully produced jazz and house music style, and upon its release was immediately featured on Nick Luscombe's Flomotion and Gilles Peterson's Worldwide radio shows.
Resident DJs Nick Luscombe and Grant Little will also be on hand to ensure the wheels of steel keep on turning throughout the evening.
