Enjoy free classical Indian music at the Horniman Museum this March

indianclassic.jpgHead down to the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill for some classic Indian music.

Experience the beauty of classical Hindustani and Carnatic music with a range of performances from Indian and British artists, including Rakesh Chaurasia on the flute, S Varadharajan on the Carnatic violin and RN Prakash on the ghatam or clay pot, as well as many other amazing artists curated by South Asian cultural arts organisation Darbar.

This event is taking place on Sunday March 30th between 11am and 5.15pm throughout the Gallery Square, Education Centre= and Conservatory. There are limited places so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

How to get there

The closest over ground train station is at Forest Hill. If travelling by bus jump on the 176, 185, 197, 356 or P4.
