Look Away Now
Join Garry Richardson for the recording of Look Away Now at The Drill Hall
Look Away Now returns to Radio 4 for a new series of hot-off-the-press sports sketches, spoof interviews, non-expert analysis and music.
Look Away Now is where sport meets comedy (a bit like Newcastle United). We look back at the last five days' action as well as forward to the sporting weekend ahead and have big name interviews, including exclusives with Australia's new sledging coach and Lewis Hamilton's F1 car and features on hooliganism in tennis and Avram Grant's Mobile Disco.
We also, like a lot of other sports shows, have ex-professional footballers watching things on TV monitors (not necessarily football matches - it could be cartoons) - and of course, we'll be fully interactive (you can join in by shouting at the radio, or just press the red button to turn it off).
Anchored by the Today programme's 'Mr Sport' Garry Richardson and featuring Laurence Howarth, Dave Lamb, Katherine Jakeways, Richie Webb and special guests.
The show is being recorded at the Drill Hall and you can be in the audience! Recordings are taking place on Tuesday 1st, 8th and 15th of April at 7.45pm.
