Over 60s Event - Sounds of Africa
Enjoy an afternoon of free music and poetry at the South London Gallery
The South London Gallery is playing host for this special event that is part of 'Silver', Southwark's older people's festival.
During 'Sounds of Africa' the over 60's are invited to join poet David Neita to explore the sounds of Africa. Respond using words or poetry to the work of Alfredo Jaar, whose exhibition explores the landscapes, people and history of Angola, Rwanda and Sudan.
The event is taking place on Monday March 31st between 2pm and 4pm and is completely free.
