Water & HIV: Working for Positive Solutions: Impacts of HIV on Access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene

Water.jpgTo mark World Water Day Action Against Hunger UK and the EPD Group at the School of Geography, King's College London invite you to the launch of a Hunger Watch publication followed by an expert panel discussion.

The report 'Water & HIV: Working for Positive Solutions' looks at the close relationships between the HIV pandemic and access to water and sanitation. The expert discussion will centre around what practitioners working in the fields of water and sanitation can learn from HIV affected communities.

Panellists are Jennifer Organ, Report Author; Dr Farhana Sultana, Lecturer in Human Geography, King's College London; Claire de Menezes, Nutrition and Health Advisor, Action Against Hunger and Samuel Hauenstein Swan, Head of Hunger Watch, Action Against Hunger.

Chair: Dr Mark Pelling, Reader in Human Geography, King's College London

The event is taking place on Wednesday March 19th in the Edmong J. Safra Lecture Theatre from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
