Discover the creativity of the book cover with new Fleming Collection exhibition 'Bond Bound'

Pile-of-books.jpgThe Fleming Collection is marking the 100th anniversary of the birthday of Ian Fleming with an exhibition celebrating the creativity of book cover design.

Fleming's own life was a fascinating backdrop for the stories of the renowned 007. He was the grandson of Robert Fleming, the founder of Flemings.

The Fleming Collection is widely recognised as the finest collection of Scottish Art in private hands and was originally conceived as a corporate collection in 1968 for Robert Fleming Holdings Ltd in the City of London. Since 2000 the collection has belonged to The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation which aims to promote Scottish Art to a wider audience.

This special exhibition of James Bond cook covers runs from April 22nd to June 28th, the gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm.
