Be part of the Canonbury Walking Group and see the sights of Islington on foot
Islington Health Walks are inviting people form the area to take part in weekly walks around the borough designed to improve your health.
Walking is a great way to exercise and Islington Health Walks provide local residents with an opportunity to walk regularly in a relaxed friendly environment and enjoy some beautiful green spaces.
The Canonbury Walking Group hit the street every Wednesday Morning from 10.30am to 12pm. The meeting place is the Walter Sickert Community Centre. After a pleasurable walk in the local area walkers are treated to free tea and biscuits in the centre.
Everyone is free to participate, particularly older people and anyone new to exercise.

How to get there
The closest over ground station is located on Essex Road. The closest tube station is a short walk away at Highbury & Islington.
If travelling by bus the 38, 56, 73, 271, 341 and 476 all serve Essex Road.
