Free Lunchtime Concerts at the Royal Opera House
Enjoy free lunchtime concerts every Monday at the Royal Opera House
Every Monday music lovers can enjoy a free concert from those lovely people at the Royal Opera House.
Concerts take place in the elegant Crush Room. Tickets are free but must be reserved; a proportion of tickets can be reserved online 10 days prior to the concert date. These must be collected from the Royal Opera House Box Office by 12.40pm on the day of the performance, after which they will be released.
Concerts take place at 1pm; the programme of events for April is as follows:
April 7th - Jacques Imbrailo, Baritone; Audrey Hyland, Piano - Programme to include Beethoven An die ferne Geliebte, Grieg Opus 48 and Wolf Goethe Lieder.
April 14th - The Baujé Quartet - Programme to include César Franck String Quartet.
April 21st - Nicholas Garrett, Narrator; Daniel Grice, Bass Baritone; Mark Packwood, Piano - Members of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and Music Staff perform song cycles by Ullmann and Poulenc, as well as Ullman's monologue, Die Weise von Liebe und Tod for speaker and piano.
April 28th - Ji-Min Park, Tenor; David Gowland, Tenor - Programme to include Schumann Dichterliebe and songs by Strauss, Respighi, Tosti and Donaudy.

The closest tube station is located at Covent Garden.
If travelling by bus the 14, 19, 24, 29, 38 and 176 serve the nearby Leicester Square.
