Free Lunchtime Concerts at the Royal Opera House
Enjoy free lunchtime concerts every Monday at the Royal Opera House
Every Monday music lovers can enjoy a free concert from those lovely people at the Royal Opera House.
Concerts take place in the elegant Crush Room. Tickets are free but must be reserved; a proportion of tickets can be reserved online 10 days prior to the concert date. These must be collected from the Royal Opera House Box Office by 12.40pm on the day of the performance, after which they will be released.
Concerts take place at 1pm; the programme of events for May is as follows:
May 12th - Matthew Rose, Baritone; Gary Matthewman, Piano - Matthew Rose and Gary Matthewman perform Schubert's Winterreise.
May 19th - Andy Macnair, Tenor; Jon Fisher, Baritone; Bryan Secombe, Bass-baritone; Mark Packwood, Piano - Members of the Royal Opera Chorus and Music Staff present a semi-staged performance of Sullivan's Cox & Box, which will celebrate its 140th anniversary in May.

The closest tube station is located at Covent Garden.
If travelling by bus the 14, 19, 24, 29, 38 and 176 serve the nearby Leicester Square.
