Get Set London! Is part of the London 2012 road show that aims to enlighten Londoner's about the Olympic Games in London.
The London 2012 road show is heading to Stratford shopping centre on Sunday April 6th between 10am and 5pm on the day that the Olympic Torch relay passes through the capital.
London 2012, The Mayor of London and the London Development Agency (LDA) have created the road show to give Londoners a unique opportunity to find out how the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will increase jobs and skills opportunities and benefit culture, sport, business and regeneration in the capital and in their local borough.
Get Set London has been the first chance for people from all over the capital to find out how they can make the most of the opportunities that London 2012 will bring and has seen host of special guests visit including Olympic diving hopeful Thomas Daley and Olympic Triple Jump Gold Medallist Jonathan Edwards, as well as showcasing London's cultural diversity with free workshops in everything from African drumming and street dancing to circus skills and tai chi.
The live final of the London 2012 Talent Contest will also be taking place at the Get Set London road show in Newham. Music and dance acts from all over the capital have been competing for their chance to represent London by performing at the Handover ceremonies between Beijing and London this August. The four finalists from North, South, East and West London will perform for the public this Sunday at 12:30pm.
Olympic Triple Jump Gold Medallist, Jonathan Edwards will officially open the road show at 11am.

How to get there
The closest tube and mainline station is at Stratford.
If travelling by bus the 25, 69, 86, 104, 108, 158, 238, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 473, D8 and S2 all serve the Stratford area.
