This May Booker Prize-winning author James Kelman will be in London launching his new novel 'Kieron Smith, boy'.
During the launch, Kelman will be interviewed by literary scholar Roxy Harris at the event in the New Beacon Bookstore on Stroud Green Road.
'Kieron Smith, boy' is a coming of age novel that tells the story of Kieron Smith, a boy who is ignored by his parents and struggles with his new life when his family is relocated to the outskirts of Glasgow during a time of social upheaval and change.
The event is taking place on Thursday May 1st from 6.15pm with the 'conversation' starting at 7.15pm.
