Messe de la Pentecote - Westminster Cathedral

Westminster Cathedral will be hosting a performance of Messe de la Pentecote this May.

Movements from Messiaen's organ work, the Pentecost Mass, can be heard in the context of the High Mass, together with timeless Gregorian chant for Pentecost Sunday, one of the great musical inspirations in Messiaen's life. Victoria's Missa Dum complerentur provides the polyphonic setting of the Mass.

Playing the organ will be Martin Baker he will be accompanied by the Westminster Cathedral Choir.

This event is taking place on Sunday May 11th from 10.30am. Please note this is a church service and all are welcome.
