Join Don Paterson at the National Gallery as he responds to Alison Watt's artwork throuhg poetry

donpaterson.jpgThe National Gallery will be turning its hand to poetry this May during a one-off poetry evening.

Prize-winning poet, writer and musician Don Paterson has been invited by Alison Watt to respond to her paintings with a reading of his poems.

Paterson's first collection of poems, 'Nil Nil', won the Forward Poetry Prize. His 'Landing Light' won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Whitbread Poetry Award in 2003.

This event is taking place on Wednesday May 7th in the Sunley Room from 6.30pm. Tickets are free but need to be reserved to do so call 020 7747 2885.

How to get there

The closest tube and train station to Trafalgar Square is Charring Cross.

If on the bus the 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 23, 24, 29, 53, 87, 88, 91, 139, 159, 176 and the 453 all serve Trafalgar Square.
