Discover the Reverie of Charlie Pi at an awe inspiring exhibition in St Pancras Church

reverie FRONT.jpgThe inspiring space that is St Pancras Church is currently playing host to a new exhibition from artist Charlie Pi.

Charlie Pi is known for his iconic painting of the black male figure. His Baroque style gives these images a spiritual edge lifting them above pin-ups or straightforward realism.

The crypt of St. Pancras Church is as far from the white cube galleries as one could possibly go. A listed space, it has no ambient light, while spotlights search out artworks scattered in a maze of corridors and alcoves littered with the debris of its former use.

Reverie is inspirational, creative, caring, bold and beautiful. And features over fifty new works in oils on canvass, wooden and brass table tops and baroque constructions the exhibition  is full of seeming narrative and symbols.

The exhibition runs from Monday April 7th to Tuesday April 29th and is open Wednesday to Saturday from 12.30pm to 6.30pm and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
