Thornton's Creates Worlds Largest Box Of Chocolates
Be amazed by the world's largest box of chocolates in Leicester Square this April!
This April Thorntons will unveil a giant box of chocolates that will break the Guinness World Record for the world's largest box of chocolates.
The event is to celebrate the launch of new Thorntons 'Moments', the box will be unveiled at 10am in London's Leicester Square, and is set to create a truly unmissable moment.
The box will be 16.5 feet tall and 11.5 feet wide; it will weigh approximately 2,000 kg and will contain approximately 1,500 kg of chocolates!
Following the world record, the public will be able to share in this unique moment with a sensory experience of their own. Visitors will be invited to walk the red carpet, climb the steps beside the record-breaking box and then help themselves to a delicious handful of the new twist-wrapped chocolates.
This fantastic event will be taking place will be taking place on Wednesday April 9th in Leicester Square, next to the Empire Cinema between 10am and 5pm.
How to get there
The closest tube station is located at Leicester Square.
If travelling by bus the 14, 19, 24, 29, 38 and 176 all serve Leicester Square.
