Be part of the World Naked Bike Ride this June in Central London!!!

nakedprotest_main.jpgOn Saturday 14 June 2008 the fifth London Naked Bike Ride will return to the streets of the capital.

This annual event allows riders to see the city sights from the comfort of their own bike or skates. The ride is easy and upbeat, and riders decorate their bodies and bikes with messages of protest against oil dependency and car culture.

The bike ride route begins at the south-east side Hyde Park and takes in the delights of Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Bridge, London Eye, Oxford Street, Park lane before finishing at Hyde Park Corner.

Riders are encouraged to use their bodies and create banners voicing the messages of the naked bike ride that include...protesting against the global dependency on oil, obtaining real rights for cyclists and celebrating body freedom.

Things kick off from Hyde Park Corner; cyclists are asked to assemble at 3pm for a 3.30pm start.
