Canary Wharf and the Royal Opera House - in association with BP, presents this special relay of The Royal Ballet's Romeo and Juliet, live from the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden to an outdoor screen in Canada Square Park.
Bring your family and friends and settle back with a picnic in the beautiful open air surrounds of the Park and watch the star crossed lovers' journey unfold as The Royal Ballet tells the greatest love story ever told.
Kenneth MacMillan's great interpretation of Shakespeare's enduring tragedy has become one of the most popular works in the Company's repertory.
This screening has been chosen especially to allow families to enjoy one of the most memorable and emotive scores in history. Prokofiev's music will sweep you off your feet, filling you with the passion and heartbreak of the star-crossed lovers.
The running time of the screening is 2hrs 55 mins. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Please note portable furniture will not be permitted at this event.
