'Club Motherfucker Recorded' was born to release the bands that these party animals are in love with and that they think are reppin' something similar to what they do with their live party.
Promoting uncynical, inclusive funtimes and good ol' DIY spirit to like minded beings. This special event sees the launch of Brooklyn party starters Team Robespierre's EP - the first UK release
Performing live will be Team Robespierre. Powered by a dirty punk rock ethos, synth hooks and programmed dance beats, Team Robespierre have helped resurrect a Brooklyn punk scene that has been waiting to embrace the raw energy of a nation's basements and late night warehouse dance parties. With a sound that melds the future and the past, the Team bring back memories of 80s new wave and 90s hardcore, with the ability to share stages with bands as diverse as The Teenagers, DeathSet, High Places, Matt & Kim, Dan Deacon, Japanther, An Albatross, Yeasayer, Parts And Labor and Best Fwends.
Also doing their thing will be DJs Tapedeck, Mac3000, Fonteyn and Naomi//.
The launch party will be taking place at The Social on June 11th from 6pm to12am.
