Enjoy free half term activities at the Museum of Childhood
This May half term keep your kids entertained with lots of fun activities at the Museum of Childhood.
Everyday during term time, the Activity Assistants at the MoC run a range of sessions for children and families to enjoy the galleries.
Sessions run at various times every afternoon during term time and all day at weekends, they are open to all ages but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
From Monday May 26th to Friday May 30th activities are as follows:
12pm to 4pm
Dolls made out of apple cores? Toy snakes made from postage stamps? The Museum has lots of toys made out of recycled materials.
Ages 4-11 recommended
10.30am, 11.15 and 12pm
Enjoy a 15-minute story about an old rag doll then follow the clues on the Museum trail to other find other toys made out of strange things!
2pm to 4pm
After lunch experiment with unusual art materials to make macaroni necklaces and pet rocks and shells.
