Head down to the Scoop at More London for a performance of the Taming of the Shrew.
This theatre troupe of five will be performing an accessible interpretation of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew in a fun and playful style that would have been an important part of the 17th century performances.
The plot goes like this... Everyone wants to marry the beautiful Bianca, but her father will not let her wed until someone is man enough to take on the challenge of wooing his eldest daughter, the Shrewish Kate. Is the boorish, sexist swash buckler Petruchio up to the challenge? And the question remains, can a Shrew ever really be Tamed?
The play is running from Thursday May 29th to Sunday June 1st and takes at 6pm to 7.50pm daily.
