Music is a big part of the Greenfest with performances from Havana Good Time; Nsimba and his group Taxi Pata Pata will be performing. Taxi Pata Pata has been called the "world's best soukous band." The New Music Express described their sound as "a joyful rhythm, a light bouncing beat, and sweet vocals that get audiences jumping wherever they perform," while influential BBC DJs Charlie Gillett and Andy Kershaw proclaimed them "Britain's best African band." Instant Flight will be here with their psychodelic pop-rock sound and Sean Taylor will be singing his delightful songs.
There will also be lots of activities for children such as planting up seedlings, art stuff, etc to keep kids occupied and enthralled. We are fortunate to have Kite Studios presenting an art work shop and kids can also be treated to free face painting.
