Brain Gym
Give your mind a workout this summer at the Brain Gym
Train your brain this summer with London's Brain Gym!
In today's fast-paced world, maintaining physical fitness is no longer enough - being mentally fit is absolutely key to achieving peak performance. Through various exercises based on scientific findings and regular mental hydration, the brain can be trained to function at an optimal level.
The drench brain gym, the first of it's kind in the UK, is coming to London to show the public the benefits of regularly exercising the brain and keeping it mentally hydrated.
The drench brain gym will be hosted by our very own brain trainer, Dr. Jack Lewis (PhD), an energetic and enthusiastic neuroscientist determined to unravel the mysteries of the human brain. Dr. Jack has put together the 'drench brainaerobics' programme, specifically designed to improve the public's alertness, concentration and short-term memory through a series of fun and interactive activies including:
Visitors will have a chance to experience a dance lesson with the legendary dancer behind Brains' slick moves in the recent drench advert. Memorising and imitating a sequence of challenging dance moves gets 'mirror' neurons firing (brain cells that are both active when you observe someone performing a skilled motor task and when you perform it yourself). This action helps to improve the process of converting demonstrations of how to do tasks given by peers, parents, teachers, etc, into movements.
In addition to this visitors to the Gym can enjoy a Giant Buzz Wire and Generation Game Conveyer Belt.
The Brain Gym is taking place at La Galleria on Pall Mall on Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th July between 10am and 5pm.
To avoid disappointment, the public is advised to email drenchbraingym@frankpr.it to book a free 'drench brainaerobics session' giving their 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferred hour long time slot, between 10am-4pm
