London Magtastic
Head down to the Hays Galleria for London Magtastic this July
London Magtastic is an event for those who love London and those who love reading about it. There are millions of stories in this well dressed city and this is the place to find some of the best.
The event is taking place on July 12th between 11am to 5pm at the Hays Galleria near London Bridge.
Throughout the day there will be stalls selling or giving away magazines outside Riverside bookshop in the Galleria. This is a great opportunity to pick up some quality reading matter, find out about some of London's odder stories and meet some of those involved in independent publishing and writing in London.
The programme of events looks like this:
11am - Scott Wood will take a short tour around London Bridge which will feature ghostly, monstrous and magical sites. See the sites of a magical battle with a ghost, the legend of Mary Overy, a wife's ghostly onslaught, the wizard-artist's studio and much more
1pm - Chris Roberts will take a short circular stroll from the Galleria over Tower Bridge and back south over London. Different beasts and ghosts, tons of bridge folklore and how London itself is shaped by the Thames crossings.
At some point in the day time will be taken to place the 'heads' of the Standard Lite and London Paper on London Bridge. We are hoping for quick service to remember all the traitors and criminals who have been placed there before them.

How to get there
The closest tube and mainline station is located at London Bridge.
If travelling by bus the 17, 21, 35, 40, 43, 47, 48, 133, 141, 149, 343, 381, 521 and the RV1 all serve the area.
