Response to Conflict and Loss
Enjoy 'Responses to Conflict and Loss' at St Pancras Parish Church this June
This new exhibition curated by Gary Hunter will be taking place this June in St Pancras Church.
Responses to Conflict and Loss features work by Moira Blackwell, Alexandra Buhl, Graham Carrick, Maria Clemen, Linda Duong, Sarah Evans, Birger Herzog, Nathan Horton, Ellis Leeper, Peter Mackertich, Michael Mayhew, John Perivolaris, Clifton Stewart, Jon Turner, David Snoo Wilson and Lucietta Williams.
Continuing ideas explored in both Trip, Transporting Grain and Name, Rank & Serial Number, Garry Hunter has produced a showcase for sixteen invited visual artists to interpret their own responses to the themes of conflict and loss.
After being shortlisted for a major Arts Council England commission in 2006, Hunter was invited to two ACE events Invigorate and Allotment, where he met practitioners who have become his mentors, giving him the insight to curate this, his first group show.
Responses to Conflict and Loss runs from Wednesday June 4th to June 14th and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 7pm.
