London's biggest end of summer party will once again be setting the river alight with fun, frolicks and pyrotechnics.
The festival has grown over the last 10 years to become one of Europe's largest street festivals, attracting an audience of 775,000 in 2007. An exciting mixture of arts, spectacle and entertainment, the festival transforms unusual spaces on and around the river with a mixture of street arts, music, pyrotechnics, art installations, river events, a feast on the bridge and massed choirs. It finishes with a spectacular illuminated Night Carnival and fireworks.
The Mayor's Thames Festival takes place over the weekend of September 13th and 14th from 12pm to 10pm on both days and takes place south bank riverside walkway between the London Eye and Tower Bridge.

How to get there
The closest tube and mainline station is located at London Bridge.
If travelling by bus the 17, 21, 35, 40, 43, 47, 48, 133, 141, 149, 343, 381, 521 and the RV1 all serve the area.
