Free Taxi Rides

If you spot a black cab emblazoned with the Chicago and Illinois Tourist Office logo and images you could be in for a free taxi ride on Friday 29th August.

Operating in zones one and two, 25 of these specially branded cabs will be giving free rides in a bid to educate Londoners about the joys of the Windy City.

But of course the best way is to visit, so helpfully, there's also a competition to win a a trip for two to Chicago to experience the city first hand. To enter you need to keep your eyes peeled and your camera phone handy - if you spot one of the branded fleet of 'Chicago' taxis simply take a snap of it and text the pic to 87121. This will enter you into a drawing to win two return tickets to Chicago with United Airlines, three nights in a chic, downtown hotel and generous spending money to use at Chicago's endless dining and shopping options. Winners will be announced the first week of September.
