BLK JKS play for free at 6.30pm on Friday 29th August in Rough Trade East store for those who arrive early enough to collect a wristband.
Rough Trade East are celebrating a year in the life of an award winning record shop with a selection of free and fantastic instore gigs over the next month.
BLK JKS was started by childhood friends in Johannesburg who taught themselves guitar then grew into a band in 2000, their music ever evolving. They say it sounds like 'breaking into the head'.
Wristbands are handed out on a one per person, first-come-first-serve basis, one hour prior to the gig. If you want to get in, then get in early!

How to get there
The nearest tube stations are at Liverpool Street and Aldgate East.
If on the bus jump on the 15, 25, 40, 42, 67, 78, 100, 115, 205 and 254 all serve Aldgate, while the 8, 11, 23, 26, 35, 42, 47, 48, 78, 100, 133, 149, 153, 205, 214, 242, 271, 344 and 388 serve the nearby Liverpool Street.
