London Soldier Roadshow 2008
London's largest and most exciting Army careers exhibition at eight venues across the Capital
Londoners will have the chance to find out about a huge variety of full and part-time career opportunities with the Regular and Territorial Army - plus have the chance to win a tandem sky dive with the world-famous Red Devils.
London Soldier 2008 will contain displays and information on every aspect of Army life, including the 140 different trades available within The Army.
Soldiers will also be on hand to talk about life in the Army and their experiences. From nurses and armoured engineers, to infantry and chefs - there is something for everyone. Unless you're a pacifist pinko leftie, naturally.
The event attractions include:
- Interactive career stands giving a taste of different Army roles and life on operations, e.g. a field hospital
- Displays of the latest Army kit and equipment (Tanks, yes!)
- Adventurous training equipment, such as an abseiling wall and go-kart racing
- Red Devils competition.
