World Zombie Day
Rise up undead brothers and sisters! Now is our time to groan and shamble for world hunger!
On Sunday 26 October 2008 a horde of zombie fans will gather in central London. They will be taking part in an international event: WORLD ZOMBIE DAY!
Cities across the globe are holding similar gatherings, aiming to celebrate the 40th anniversary of George A Romero's Night of the Living Dead (the film that birthed our zombie friends into popular culture) as well as raising money and awareness for local charities. World Zombie Day: London is supporting the capital's largest homeless charity, St Mungo's.
Dress code, as ever, is zombie - which means as long as you're spattered with blood and lurch about going 'Arrrgggghhhh', it doesn't really matter what you wear.
The actual meeting point of the event is being kept under wraps at the moment - but we'll keep you updated as and when we know.
