Join in the Fun between Friday 9th May and Sunday 11th as the Pentecost Festival hits the streets of London.
The weekend will see all manner of activities taking place, including a skate demo in Leicester Square, a jazz festival, break dancing and even a fashion show. The festival is a celebration of Christian compassion and creativity, but is open to everybody regardless of faith, colour or creed.
The revelry is based in Westminster and takes place at venues along the Northern Line from Camden Town to Waterloo.
Events include:
'Gifts' - An exhibition of paintings and sculptures by various artists reflecting and celebrating creativity and our Creator.
Does The Shoe Fit? - A musical with a life-changing message. A young girl tries on different shoes until she finds the perfect pair. Then her life changes....
Children's Fun Session - Come and have fun with songs, craft, games and Bible activities at this 90 minute session for 7-11 year olds.
Do The Right Thing - An opportunity to get away from it all - inspiring and thought provoking music and spoken word in a private capsule on the London Eye.
Big Blue Box Music Stage - Noel Robinson, well known worship leader, hosts a rolling programme of worship, gospel and high energy urban dance.
Chan - A gospel artist with a warm, vocal style and a sound described as Neo-Soul. Her honey-rich vocals take you on a virtual melodic journey.
IDMC - A 16 piece gospel outfit with a contagious, urban, contemporary and above all uplifting sound!
Michaela - Michaela, the 'Female Spoken Wordsmith' draws her inspiration from her faith and is a fervent and zealous believer in Christian theology.
G Force - G Force use the word of God, personal experiences and modern beats blistered with infectious lyrics to address prevailing issues of today.
Dwayne Tryumf - Dwayne Tryumf will be performing songs from his forthcoming album "The Mark of the Peace" Dwayne Shorter AKA Dwayne Tryumf has been involved in music production & rapping since '97. His involvement with music began in a secular rap group called "Magic Circle"which featured UK artists such as Marga Man, Blackout, Chris Smoove and Don P (Pierre).
Christian Aid Fun Day - Rolling programme of street theatre, roving polar bears & inflatable games to support Christian Aid's climate change campaign.
Guvna B - Guvna B ministers the accounts and teachings of Jesus Christ through music including Hip Hop, R&B, Neo Soul & Funky House.
Ryan Carty - Ryan Carty is one of UK's rising young gospel stars. His voice belies his 21 years, and his musical gifts in the fields of song writing, singing and musicianship have marked him out as an artist to watch.
Verbswish - A rolling programme of awesome live music headlined by Verbswish. He has a unique style of spoken soul and neo-poetry.
The Stage at Leicester Square - With music from Simply Andy, Bibles Bibles and St Patrick's Gospel Choir and displays from Tough Talk and Rebirth Dance.
Poetry and Song - Story telling and poetry with music, energy and emotion. Creative Rights is a vibrant new service providing performances and workshops for children in storytelling, drama, poetry, puppetry and music.
Walk The Line - Members of the public are invited to wear beer goggles (vision impairment goggles) and attempt to walk a straight line.
Communicate - Speaking the language; using new media to communicate truth. Inspirational short films from NOOMA and other authors. Plus guest speakers and live music.
Graffiti Gallery - An exciting contemporary graffiti art-work display - relax with a drink and take in the spray. Check out the latest art-work graffiti from Every Second Counts. Teaching people to live life to the max and express themselves.
Music In The Park - Presents the London Community Gospel Choir, Dave Bilbrough, Spoken Groove, Jon Tearne and Bill Donoghue.
Jesus Stories - An Exhibition of fifty 100-word stories about the impact of Jesus on the lives of ordinary people.
The Manga Bible - Manga artist Siku comes to London to teach manga drawing and talk about his version of the Good Book.
Make a Miracle Happen! - An interactive workshop aimed at 8-16 year olds, discussing questions about science and faith and how it impacts our lives.
Speed Dating - A series of mini-dates for Christian singles! Lunch from 12 noon. Non-speed daters are welcome to join us for lunch and mingle with others.
Jesus The Jedi - How should young people be discipled today? A seminar looking at crucial lessons from the Gospels, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
May Fayre and Puppet Festival - An international event and festival celebrating 'Mr Punch', which was first performed in Covent Garden. Celebrations include prayers and puppeteers at the world famous Actors Church at the 11am service. There will be processions, bands, displays and stalls.

How to get there
The vast majority of venues participating in Pentecost will be situated
within easy walking distance of ten tube stations along the Northern
Line of the London Underground. All the stations are within Zones 1
& 2, and a travelcard can be purchased (currently £5.10 for an
adult, £3.30 for a child) which will allow unlimited travelling for a
day within the Pentecost destinations and popular tourist areas.
