Australia, the film, premieres on Thursday December 12th at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester
Square.
The time: pre-WW2, the place: Australia, the plot: an English aristocrat inherits a massive cattle station as cattle barons (also English) force her off the land. She must unite with Drover the stock-man to have any chance of moving her 2,000 strong cattle, and the complications don't end there.
Australian Nicole Kidman is the English aristocrat and Hugh Jackman (Formerly Wolverine in the X-Men films) is the rather ravishing Drover.
Baz Luhrman (of Moulin Rouge!, and Romeo + Juliette) writes, with Stuart Beattie, and directs this epic that's all adventure, drama, war, western and then some.
We can't predict which stars will show for their premiere, but your guaranteed to see a few pairs of sparkling shoes floating across the red carpet. (Just to remind you, unless you have a ticket to the premiere you won't be seeing the film which is on general release on December 26th.)

The premiere of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is on Sunday 23rd of November 2008 in the Empire Leicester Square.
Your favourite animated castaways are back in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, continuing the story of the New York zoo animals who ended up marooned in Madagascar.
The lion, giraffe, hippo, zebra, chimps, penguins and all the other delightful (and not so delightful) animals hatch a plan to escape Madagascar by attempting to fix a crashed plane. It lifts off, flies a bit and, well, the title gives away the destination.
Created by animation experts in Dreamworks, it's bound to be pleasing to adults and children alike.
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sasha Baron Cohen, Alec Baldwin, Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd, Elisa Gabrielli, Tom McGrath and a whole lot more. There's only one way to find out who will turn up on the night and that's seeing for yourself!

The Changeling UK premiere is on Sunday 16th November 2008 in the Empire Leicester Square.
Clint Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby) directs Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider, Mr and Mrs Smith) and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich, Burn After Reading) in the Changeling.
Changeling tells the true story of a mother Christine (Jolie, of course) whose kidnapped son is apparently returned to her, only after the press frenzy has died down she realises he is not who she thought he was...
It's 1928 in Los Angeles and Christine Collins is about to find out how the authorities do their jobs in the time of Prohibition with the help of activist Reverend Briegleb (Malkovich).
Michelle Martin, Jan Devereaux, Gattlin Griffith, and Michael Kelly (Sopranos) also star.
Nobody knows who will show for any premiere, but we all know how these thespians love to dress up and watch themselves on screen.
You are advised to arrive in the afternoon to get a good view to the stars and their significant others walk the walk to the Changeling premiere. If you find you have time on your hands then there's plenty of free stuff to do in the area such as The National Gallery and Covent Garden.

Frost/Nixon premieres at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester
Square on Wednesday 15th October.
Frost/Nixon, written by Peter Morgan, is the dramatic re-telling of the interviews between Britain's David Frost and the former American president Richard Nixon after Watergate.
Michael Sheen is David Frost, Frank Langella is Richard Nixon, Mark Simich is Hugh Hefner with plenty of Playboy Bunny/Playmates, Kevin Bacon stars, as does Janneke Arent who was Rebecca Tate on four episodes of Home and Away. Gene Boyer and Carl Burhanan play themselves.
