Soho Pride lights up Old Compton Street and beyond this weekend as the area closes to traffic to accomodate the fiercest street party in town on Saturday 17th August from 12-8pm. Although it's free, anyone keen to lend a hand to the festivities can garner further freebies at participating bars and clubs, but even those focused on fun won't be disappointed with a packed line-up of DJs, drag queens and pole dancers on offer.
The gang at Gaydar are taking over Soho Square with their Gaydar Bandstand and an American Summer Camp feel (we're hoping for "camp counsellors"), with DJs incuding Paul Coles and Shena (Guilty) and live PAs from Marcella and Rita Campbell.
Meanwhile over in Dean Street the Candy Girls rock some gay girl pole dancing as DJs Minx, Slamma, Philly + Crystal and MC Brandy take care of the tunes, while QX Magazine, Ku Bar and Village promise surprise turns at their Old Compton Street stage. For full listings and info click here.
