Berwick Street Market
Discover the delights of Soho at the Berwick Street Market
Located in the heart of Soho, Berwick Street market is as likely to be frequented by media types as often as shoppers or tourists, it is small but perfectly formed and ideal is looking for a cheap shack whilst visiting the West End.The mainstay of the market is fruit and vegetables, cheese, fish, flowers, bread and of course clothes. Prepared to be deafened by the loud cries "get your apples, lurrrvvveryly apples" and distracted by the array of sex shops in the local area, however, Berwick Street's biggest claim to fame is that he provided the location for the cover photograph on the Oasis album '(What's the Story) Morning Glory'.
The market is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5.30pm with the best time to visit being lunchtime.
