Visit Newham City Farm, one of the oldest working farms in London!

newhamhorsehead_large.JPGNewham City Farm was opened in 1977 and is one of London's oldest urban farms; the farm aims to educate children and adults on animals within a friendly, interesting and fun environment.

The farm is home to a wide range of animals, particularly rare breeds. At the farm you can expect to see cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, and wild fowl. Newham is a working farm so visitors can see a working shire horse, milk cows and even taste honey from the hives at the farm. If visiting during the early spring months you may even get a peek at the baby piglets and spring lambs.

The farm is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am till 5pm, with an early closing at 4pm during the winter months. Find out more about Newham City Farm.
